wordless wednesday; lazy river...

We got the biggest kick out of Libbi the other day.  She was just chillaxin' on her Boppy pillow.  Jeffrey said it looked like she was "shootin' the Hooch" or floating down a lazy river - ha!  Either way, she really enjoyed herself and got quite comfortable as you'll see. ;0)

And if you think about it, will you please pray for my dad and his mission team in Indonesia?  They departed on Monday and arrived in Indonesia this evening.  They will begin seeing medical patients tomorrow.

wordless wednesday: pooped....

This pretty much sums up how I have felt this week....

just plain old pooped!  It has been one of those weeks where it seems like everything is going on at the same time and there is not a minute to rest.  On top of all that, Jeffrey has been working late, Libbi is teething and has a cold, and I haven't felt too hot myself!  Whew! Talk about exhausting!

I am just so thankful that tomorrow is a 1/2 day at work and then we have a l-o-n-g weekend!!

sometimes I like to just sit and hang out with him....

other times  I like to stand....

but, no matter if I'm sitting or standing, Daddy can ALWAYS...

Libbi had her first taste of rice cereal on her 6 month birthday....here are a few pictures from the big day!

She was waiting with great anticipation...this girl had high hopes for a gourmet meal...

She was sorely disappointed....

She thought that maybe, just maybe, if she could show us how good she is at standing up and maybe, just maybe, if she threw in some sweetness sprinkled with a little bit of sass that we might just let her try some french fries instead.  After all...she does have two teeth now...

ummm....sorry, Libbi.  No such luck.

She likes it! (or at least she pretends to...what excellent manners she has already....well, besides the food all over her face and hands, and the whole opening her mouth with food in it thing....)

This girl is so proud of herself....and she knows that each spoonful of rice cereal gets her one step closer to those french fries! ;0)
