wednesday lovin'...

a few things i'm loving lately....

my silhouette cameo! i'm still figuring things out and trying to get the hang of it. i still ruin more than i accomplish - ha! but i'm getting there. jeffrey laughs at me for watching the youtube videos and tutorials, but i'm so thankful for them! what did we do before technology?! (i guess people had to resort to *gasp* reading the instruction manual!) ;-)

here's a few things i've made and/or essentially just labeled all fancy like...

i've asked jeffrey if there is anything he'd like me to "label" for him, but so far he can't come up with anything he owns that is screaming to be personalized. maybe i'll just surprise him ;)

i'm loving a new facebook page started by a friend of a friend: the paper dolls. i've seen many of her party favors, printables, and decorations. y'all. they are just TOO cute!!! and guess what?! if you head on over and "like" the paper dolls on facebook, you can get a link to this free printable!

i'm LOVING my "big fat payment" that i just got from ebates. if you don't use ebates, you are missing out!! every time i shop online, i just click through ebates first, and i automatically get CASH BACK. every three months, they cash out your account and write you a "big fat check" (or in my case, deposit it in my paypal account). easy money!

i'm loving that the countdown is ON for our beach trip. it can't get here soon enough!!! libbi asks every day if it's time to go to "the frog beach" :)

i'm loving that there are only 17 more days until football season!! i am bound and determined to make it to more games this year than i did last year (so if i make to exactly...ONE...then i'll achieve my goal. setting the bar high, y'all.)

and as usual, i'm loving these two precious girls. they make each day fun (and sometimes crazy!) but i wouldn't have it any other way!

what i'm loving wednesday...

is it weird that the bachelorette coming on sunday night instead of monday has totally thrown my days off?

don't answer that.

i've been thinking today is wednesday all day long. so much so that i was preparing my "what i'm loving wednesday" post and was just about to hit "publish" when i realized that today is in fact, not wednesday. oops. i blame you for this, chris harrison.

so, instead of revamping it, i'm just gonna go ahead and post it and give "what i'm loving wednesday" an alternate title: "what i'm loving wednesday on a tuesday thanks to chris harrison, emily, and jef (with one f)"

i'm loving watching my girls develop their own little personalities and unique quirks.

i'm loving that laney is our little "collector" as we like to call her. she loves to pick up as many things as she possibly can and take them to her own little hiding place. it's typically a chair or seat of some sort and she usually ends up trying to sit on them once they're arranged just so. it's rare that she doesn't have her hands full and an extra toy in her mouth for good measure. she would make an excellent chipmunk :)

i'm loving how funny libbi is lately. i could do an entire post on the funny things she says these days. actually, i probably will since my wednesday post is now up on tuesday - ha!

when i picked her up from camp the other day, i asked her if she had learned a new bible story. she began to tell me all about "moose" and how he helped the people. she said the "people kept saying, 'moose we're thirsty' and so "moose" gave them water from the rocks...." it took me a minute, but i finally figured out who she was talking about.

in the old testament, "moose" is more commonly referred to by his biblical name of moses :)

i'm loving the sweet friendship between libbi and her cousin blakeley. i have such fond memories of growing up with my cousins and i'd love nothing more than for my girls to have the same! libbi and blakeley are finally at the age where they actually play with each and not just around each other. laney is still a little young to "get it" but that doesn't stop her from jumping in on the action! :)

i'm loving the way libbi rides her scooter. to be honest, we had no idea she even knew how to ride one. her uncle john gave her this scooter for her birthday and lo and behold, she hopped right on it and took off. down a hill at the speed of light. score one for the parents of the year who never saw that one coming.

let's just say, she has a very distinct "style" of scooter riding. i kept thinking it looked familiar and finally it hit me:

i guess tv can teach us something after all. :)

and finally, i am loving that i am slowly but surely figuring out how to work my silhouette. i'm by no means an expert (yet - ha!) but i have managed to make a few things... precious laney girl FINALLY got some decor up on her walls - woohoo!

and i added the first of many (many) monograms to our kitchen. poor jeffrey didn't know what he was getting into when he bought me this machine! :)

I'm loving this video, too! It is probably one of my favorite videos ever.  Libbi's newest "trick" is falling on the bed.  I don't know why or how it started, but she will cross her  arms across her chest and fall backwards on our bed.  This is such a fun game to her and she always requests to go "fall in momma's bed."  Jeffrey decided to film her one day with his phone, and she decided to change things up a bit and "fall on a pill-woah" instead.....too funny!  She is SO dramatic! :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday....{little fashionistas}

Happy Wednesday, Friends!  This week's What I'm Loving Wednesday is dedicated to the little fashionistas in my life.  Thanks to Pinterest, I'm able to catalog all the things that I am loving for my girls!  A girl can dream, right?!? ;-)

I am LOVING these dresses from Dolcemia Clothing.  How cute are they?!?  Here are some of my favorites.....

I'm loving these precious ones for summer and since it stays hot here for so long, the girls could wear them for at least another 3 months!

I'm loving these precious smocked dresses from Posh Pickle.  I am seriously debating on buying them for Libbi and Laney.  They just HAVE to have matching outfits for beach pictures :) And at only $20 - you just can't beat that price!!

I'm loving Libbi's new style lately.  She's been all about the accessories.

I'm loving Laney's sweet smiles....they are coming more and more often.  And, she even gave a little laugh today.  :)

I'm loving zulily!  I have always been a zulily shopper, but lately they have been knocking it out of the park with some great sales and cute clothes for the girls.  I especially love it since they frequently have coordinating/matching outfits for my girls!!  Here are a few of the lovelies that I've recently ordered....

I'm loving this bathing suit from limericki.  I have a couple of limericki suits from last year and I was surfing their site looking for a new one for this year when I saw that they now offer a girl's line!!!  be still my heart!

what I'm Loving Wednesday....

I'm loving that Jeffrey is back home!  He was in a wedding in Colorado over the weekend and we missed him so much!  We debated on whether or not Laney and I should go with him or if he should go alone (sorry, Libbi....you were never invited - ha!) and ultimately we decided that it just wouldn't be practical for me to go since I would mostly be tending to Laney.  And seeing as she has colic, we feel we made the right decision - I can almost imagine her screams bouncing off the mountains in Colorado and echoing for all to hear - not the romantic background music they were going for, I'm sure.  Even though I know we made the right decision, I was sad to miss out on the trip and on Brian and Allie's big day.  I know it was beautiful and I can't wait to see pictures! 

I'm loving that Jeffrey brought me home flowers and every time we go into the kitchen, Libbi smells them and says, "Da-da. flowers for Momma .... awww ..... sweet!" ;-)

I'm loving that he also bought me the people magazine crossword puzzle book (even though I've only had time to do two of the puzzles......)

I'm loving that Libbi is saying all kinds of new things these days.  One of my favorites is, "so sorry..." If she bumps into anything she says, "so sorry chair" or "so sorry wall."  And I love when she says, "so sorry Lay-Lay" ;-)  Another favorite is when Laney sneezes and Libbi says, "Bess You Lay-Lay!" And I love when she says, "cheese ca-ca's" (cheese crackers) soooo cute!

I'm loving that Libbi and her cousin Blakeley are starting to play together.  Blakeley came over to play last weekend and they had the BEST time together.  They were so cute!They played with Libbi's toys, went swimming in the pool, and ate pizza - it was like a slumber party (only without the slumber - ha!)

I'm loving Libbi's new position in the bathtub - haha!  She LOVES to lie down on her back (announcing each time that she is "on my back!") I have no idea where she learned this or where this idea came from, but it definitely makes washing her hair much easier!

I'm loving that sweet little Laney is starting to smile more and more.  And I'm loving all her precious baby coo's.

I'm loving that Libbi is starting to play and use her imagination more and more.  It is so much fun to watch her pretend.  She loves to give her farm animals names while she lines them up (and she gives them the same name every single time) I'm loving that I am always the farmer and not the cow or the pig - ha!  (in case you're wondering, her cast of characters includes, Momma (farmer), Daddy (sheep), Blakeley (pig), Buddy (horse), Mimzy (goat), and Libbi (cow)).

I'm loving this new recipe that I found on pinterest for crockpot BBQ chicken.  It is SO much easier to do crockpot recipes these days since both girls are just waking up about the time I would start supper and it can get CRAZY!!  I'm NOT loving that we didn't get to try the new recipe, because our power went out for 3+ hours so it was a total bust.

I'm loving that the power did NOT go out at chick-fil-a, so we were still able to eat supper and let Libbi play (in the air conditioning, thank you Jesus!) while we waited for our power to be restored.
