end of school year gifts (Free printables!)….

**EDIT: when you download the files through "dropbox" you will be asked to create an account, but you can disregard that step and then the download will appear! feel free to email me if you have any trouble**

**EDIT 5/23/15** LINKS HAVE BEEN UPDATED! :) and to see this year's post with NEW printables, click HERE.

i'm pretty sure the month of may is the busiest month of the year, at least it is if you have children in school. granted, i'm only four years into this whole "school" thing and we haven't even technically started "real" school yet, but goodness gracious! may is kicking my tail. between end of the year parties, recitals, end of the year programs, graduation, teacher appreciation day, class gifts (and multiply all of that by two children) some days i feel like i make to-do lists just to remind myself to make to-do lists. ;-)

i posted last year about some end of the year gift ideas for teachers and classmates. and honestly, i would have gifted the teachers something similar again this year, but my girls have some of the same teachers from last year so i didn't want them to have a repeat gift. if you want to see some ideas (and MORE free printables) from last year's post, CLICK HERE.

this year, i just made a gift tag for the girls' teachers and the director of the school. y'all know i love a cheesy play on words, so i just couldn't resist. "Thanks a melon for such a sweet summer" with a cute little watermelon graphic. i put some "sweet" smelling lotions and soaps in their bags. i also added in some watermelon flavored gum and a few gift cards and other odds and ends.

for the girls' friends: fun size bags of m&m's with a gift tag that reads, "have a sweet summer" and the m's in summer resemble the m&m logo. libbi and laney's tags close with, "your friend" but i've created a blank version as well as another version with just a heart. that way it can be used for boys/girls/friends, etc. i think it would even be cute for teachers to give their students!

i can't make the month of may any calmer, i surely can't keep my baby from graduating from preschool (Lord knows, i would if i could) but hopefully i CAN offer you a bit of help with these FREE printables! just click the link for the free download.

THANKS A MELON

SWEET SUMMER (your friend,)

200...and a GIVEAWAY!

happy thursday, friends!
i am so excited to tell y'all that i have reached 200 sales in my little etsy shop. honestly, i never thought i'd even see 20 - ha! but lo and behold, i just made my 200th sale! thank you to all of my friends, family, and customers that have supported my shop. i feel so blessed to have been a small part of your special events and holidays.

so, in honor of 200 sales, i thought i would do a post highlighting some of the valentine goodies in the etsy shop and a lovely little giveaway! (see what i did there?) ;-)

first up, valentine placemats! my girls LOVE these and we use them all the time. we have ours laminated, so we can use them a variety of ways. we use ours to eat on and they're so easy to just wipe clean. we've also used them as play-doh mats, painting mats, and for sorting. again - if they're laminated, they're so easy to just wipe clean when you're finished!

the great thing about the placemats, is that you don't have to laminate them - you can print them and use them as is! i've had multiple orders of people purchasing them for class parties. they print them out on their own, but don't laminate them (in order to save money). then at the class party, the kids know where their place is, plus they can color on the back of their mat when they're done! win:win!

you can see all the placemat designs and purchase them HERE.

next up, valentines!
there are so many different valentines and printables in the shop. you can choose instant downloads or personalized valentines. either way, the options are endless!

the printable valentines are a cute and easy way for your little ones to tell their friends how much they mean to them! choose your design and receive a pdf file within 24 hours. then you can print as many as you like! this is a perfect option for people like me who always underestimate how many cards i'll need. not enough? just print more at home! easy!! :)

you can check out the valentine designs HERE.
or maybe you've seen one of those cute pinterest ideas, but just don't have time to implement it yourself - i can help! :)

and there's so much more. i offer custom invites, stationery, and vinyl monograms and decals. if there's something you're looking for, but don't see in the shop....just ask! i'd be happy to help bring your vision to life! :)

now, for the giveaway!! enter below to win a free personalized placemat as well as your choice of printable valentines. the placemat will be mailed to you (via snail mail) and the valentines will be sent via email as a pdf file. you can choose from any of the designs in the shop or have a custom design created just for you!

the giveaway will be a short one (since, hello...february 1st is right around the corner!) it will close on sunday night so i can hopefully put your placemat in the mail first thing monday morning. and even if you don't win the giveaway, everyone is still a winner here -
please use the code SHOP200 to receive 15% off any order from One Good Name.

thank you again for all of your support and for helping to turn my fun hobby into something so much more! xoxo

five on friday...christmas fun and free printables....

happy friday, friends! only four more shopping days until christmas! i'll be one of those crazies out shopping at the last minute....hopefully i won't end up on the news for a random target fight or anything. ;)

just a few fun little things to share today for my "five on friday".....

one.
have y'all heard of the portable north pole? it is SO cute. you can sign up (for FREE!) and add your child's name, pictures, christmas list, etc. and santa sends them a special personalized video message. it is precious. the girls have loved watching their videos over and over.

two.
the big girls have loved looking at christmas lights this year. i made this fun little printable for them to use when we're out and about in the car looking at decorations and lights. you can download it HERE.

three.
libbi and laney had their christmas program at school last night and it was nothing short of adorable. seriously. i could just cry every time i think about it. there is nothing sweeter than precious children singing about the true meaning of christmas. and they both quoted isaiah 9:6 - we were so proud!

those dimples?! love them!!!

four.
one not so fun thing? our fridge decided to just quit working. bah humbug. i guess jeffrey and i won't have to stress about what to get each other for christmas now ;)
it started smelling like it was burning yesterday. and last night as we left for the girls' christmas program i jokingly said, "sure hope the house doesn't burn down while we're gone..." libbi heard me and excitedly said, "if our house burns down and there's a fire, will you please take a picture of it and text it to mimzy so she can show me?!" (she was going home with my mom and dad after the program and apparently she didn't want to miss any of the action that may or may not happen at home.)
she also prayed aloud before we walked into the school and prayed that she "would not be nervous saying her bible verse and that momma would please take a picture of the fire at home." i have to say i'm really glad the Lord only answered ONE of those prayers ;-)

five.
finally, here's another fun little printable inspired by my friend, jennifer! i gave these to the girls' preschool teachers along with some christmas soaps and a hand sanitizer (with a monogram, of course!).  you can never have too much soap....especially this time of year with all those nasty germs going around! i'm thinking of making these for our sunday school teachers and neighbors, too!

you can download the FREE printable HERE (christmas) or HERE (holiday)
(there's a "holiday" version as well as a "christmas" version)

hope y'all have a happy weekend!

turkey toes and letters to santa....

with thanksgiving quickly approaching and christmas right around the corner, we've been busy in the tippins house preparing for one of our favorite things.... gift giving! :)

i thought i would share some of the fun things in my etsy shop to help make gift giving a little easier this year. i'm also sharing a fun FREE printable that the tippins girls will be putting to good use soon enough!! :)

first up, nothing says "happy thanksgiving" like.... turkey toes!
there are some cute little printables to attach to a snack or sandwich size ziploc bag filled with candy corn (aka turkey toes!)
if you're in a hurry, you can purchase the "instant download" from the shop and the file is immediately available! print it, cut it out, staple or tape it onto a ziploc bag and boom! easy thanksgiving treat to take to school or give to your neighbors.

there are a few different options for the turkey toes printable....

you can also choose the personalized option and have your name, your family's name,  or your child's name added to the printable!

more fun printables in the shop that are perfect for thanksgiving are these "happy thanksgiving", "happy turkey day", and "i am thankful for YOU!" printables....

just like the turkey toes, these are available as an instant download or as a personalized tag. either way - cute as can be, and EASY! :)

and of course, the thanksgiving placemats are still up in the shop. these are seriously one of my favorite things! my girls have them and they are just darling! i've also added an "instant download" option for the placemats as well if you're in a rush or not looking to have them personalized. (and christmas mats have been added, too!)

finally, my girls have been busy making lists of all they want for christmas (aka shouting "I WANT THAT FOR CHRISTMAS!" every time a commercial comes on tv). so in an effort to help curb the "gimmies", we are creating a new christmas list this year. i'm sure you've all heard of the "want, need, wear, read" list.... so we're taking that approach.
i made this printable for my girls to fill out and thought i would share it with y'all. :)

you can download it for free (without the watermark) for personal use. in case santa doesn't visit your house, i made some generic lists too. feel free to use and share! :)

FREE CHRISTMAS LETTER DOWNLOADS....(click on the link to download)

and don't forget about the black friday shopping spree giveaway going on HERE
don't miss your chance to win $350!!!
