- FRIDAY -
*no rest for the weary :)
*no school today due to a teacher workday
*dr appt instead
*ear infection
*did some browsing around borders after our appointment
*libbi earned her keep by cooking and cleaning (kidding!)
*rearranged furniture
*discovered the joy of stickers!! (WHY didn't i think of this before!?!?!)
(this makes me laugh, because apparently she "showed self-discipline" while i was just "really improved" haha! :)
*jeffrey brought home chili's after playing golf
- SATURDAY -
*jeffrey helped some friends move so it was just us girls
*met mimzy to go to sophie's 1st birthday party!!!
*drove to sophie's house
*realized the party was not at sophie's house when we pulled into the deserted driveway
*thanked God sophie's grandma lived nearby so we still made it to her house (the party destination) in time!
*thanked God again that mimzy was there to assist with my wild child
*watched libbi hold her own in the "bouncy house"
*and go down the slide umpteen million times
*got stuck in the mud and muck trying to leave the party.
*sophie's grandpa and two uncles had to push us out.
*realized that sophie's family probably thinks i have lost it :)
*took naps and waited on pins and needles for daddy to get home!! :)
-SUNDAY -
*church with the fam where we met a new friend (Hi, Laura!) ;0)
*ran around outside after church
(i LOVE her serious "run face") ;0)
*jeffrey realized there was only one way to get a strong-willed little girl to come inside after running around outside in her church dress
*naps all around
*played peek-a-boo in our closet.
*got into trouble :)
*changed clothes and decided to go to the park
*waited in line in the parking lot since every other person in our town had the same idea
*finally made a u-turn and left the park because there were NO parking spaces open (and at least 5 cars ahead of us waiting to park!!)
*went to the town center instead and let libbi burn off some energy.
*libbi met babies and dogs and tried to steal their bikes and toys
*enjoyed a cupcake from the bakery
*went home and played outside some more
*sidewalk chalk, fun with the neighbors, and the water table
*complete meltdown when it was time to come in (even though we had been outside for around 2 hours!)
*bath (where she practiced dunking her face - ugh!)
*bedtime - whew!
