Perfect Timing...

As the months have quickly turned to weeks and the weeks have now turned to days, THE day is fast approaching.  This time next week I will be back at work..... sigh.

Deep in my heart I know that the Lord ALWAYS has perfect timing, but sometimes it's just hard to see, isn't it???  Because I know that wallowing in self-pity will get me no where (except for down in the dumps) I have decided to try to look on the bright side of things....

I love my school that I work at and I love all the teachers that I work with...they are more than just "teachers I work with" they are friends.  I also looooove getting emails (who doesn't?!) and if you are a teacher then you know that emails are something you get A LOT of!

We are required to keep our email up at school because important messages are constantly being sent via email.  You know, imperative stuff like, "Does anyone have any black construction paper?" Or, "The bridge on the playground is broken...please stay off of it." And my personal favorite, "Mrs. Tippins...please send your attendance for today!" - ha! ;)

Obviously things that everyone just has to know.

Since school email is intended for educational purposes only (and of course everyone strictly adheres to that rule - myself included!) most of the messages that come across are "school related" (surprise, surprise!) ;) Even though I have been on maternity leave, I have still had access to my school email account and have been able to keep up with all the happenings of my elementary school while I've been at home with my sweet girl.

So, in honor of "perfect timing" and "looking on the bright side" I would like to share a few of my favorite emails from this week....(the names have been changed to protect the innocent ;))  I'm not sure if anyone that I work with even reads this (besides Heather and Holly - holla! - ha ha ha!!) so if you do and you see one of your emails....just know that I love you and you made me smile! ;)

Here are some of my favorite typical elementary school emails from this week:

"We are in need of empty water bottles for a project next week"

"I sent a child to the restroom with some panties to change into. She got to the restroom, but the panties did not.  If anyone has seen the missing panties, they were clean and belong to room xxx...."

"Prepare yourselves..."

"These staff members are out today: Tippins" (I have seen this email EVERY day for 12 weeks and I'm not the least bit sorry about it! ;))

"If your child is sick before school, please do not give him/her fever reducing medicines and then send them on to school..."

And now for some of my personal favorites....because it's always nice to be missed and to hear how my sweet baby will be loved on....

"Libbi is a cutie pie....we can't wait to take care of her!"

"Your class is so excited to have you back as their teacher!"

"Can't wait to lay eyes on your little cherub!"

"I miss you...come back soon!"

"She is beautiful....can't you just see the fingerprints of God all over her?!"

And finally,

Because HE blessed me with these precious friends to remind me that....

HE knows just what I need .....

HE knows how much I can handle.....

HE knows how hard this is for me.....

HE is right there with me.....

And HIS timing is always perfect....

"Amy-

....to help make your week better the kindergarten team will be providing you with a meal each night next week. You will have dinner Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri. We will bring the items to school and you can just take them home and warm them up and Jeffrey will love you even more.... A home cooked meal each night, man will he be in heaven!
Enjoy your weekend and we look forward to your return on Tuesday"

God is good.....

All the time.....

And all the time....

God is good!

" A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps."
