Busy, Busy...

So...I have been a bit of a slacker on my blogging lately....oops! :)

We went out of town for Spring Break to Fripp Island and it was AHHH-MAY-ZING!  I will post pictures of our mini family vaca soon.  Since we have been back in town we have just been busy trying to unpack, wash clothes, and settle back in.  Let me tell you, it is HARD to get things done now that Libbi is on the move.  I had NO idea how easy it was when she would just stay in one spot.  Those days are loooooong gone!

This girl has NO DESIRE to be stationary.
She is busy, busy!  All she wants to do is go, go, go!!  She used to spend large amounts of time sitting on the floor playing with her toys or jumping herself silly in her exersaucer.  She would laugh and play and just live it up.  I could blog, eat lunch, get some cleaning done, or even just leave my shoes out in the floor for that matter. Well, not any more!  I can barely go to the bathroom without her making a mad dash for something...anything....that she should not be in!  It is a constant race at our house to see "who can get there first!" Sometimes I win, and....sometimes she does ;0)
She has successfully mastered the art of opening drawers, cabinets, and doors.  She has also mastered the art of closing said drawers, cabinets, and doors on her fingers and screaming. And can someone please explain to me why, when she has a plethora of toys, contraptions, play mats, etc. all at her disposal does she want everything BUT those things?!?!?
She loves the remote control, cell phones, cords, basically anything that has buttons.  And let me assure you that if I ever had ANY question about her eyesight...she has quickly diminished all doubts by showcasing her super-charged-x-ray-vision.  Seriously, this girl can find the TEENY TINIEST little speck known to mankind and in two seconds flat she is taste testing the curiosity that she has found.
Hello, vacuum...nice to meet you.

And you'd think with sweet girl's busy schedule throughout the day that she'd crash at night....but no such luck.  She's still a night owl AND an early morning riser.  She's too busy practicing her standing and walking/crawling all through her crib to bother with actually lying down in it!
Hopefully next week when we go back to school things will return to "normal"....whatever that is - ha!

Hope y'all had a great weekend!! :)
