blogger's block, fall, and reviews...

I have been in a bit of a blogging funk this week.  It's been a low-key week with not much to blog about. Hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things before too long..... I do know I will be posting a review for CSN Stores very soon!  They have over 200 stores, filled with everything you could imagine; from an ottoman coffee table to incredibly cute baby gear.  I'm excited to share with you the product that I am going to review.....stay tuned to find out!  And, in the meantime, head over to CSN Stores and check out all they have to offer!!

To help cure my "blogging block" I thought I would take a cue from my friend Heather and post these fun Fall questions.....

1. Do you like Starbucks? Are you a fan of their seasonal drinks?
I am probably one of the only people on the planet that does not like Starbucks.  I don't drink coffee, cappuccino, frappuccino, or anything else of that sort.  I don't even like their hot chocolate (gasp!) I prefer the "cheap" hot chocolate....like the kind you can get at a concession stand.  Just give me a cup of hot water and a packet of Swiss Miss and I'm good to go.  I do like the rice krispy squares from Starbucks, but only certain ones carry them.  I guess that doesn't really count, though. ;0)

2. How do you decorate and prepare for fall?
I don't really decorate for Fall very much.  I have a few fall wreaths that I put out and a few pumpkins, but other than that I can't say I really decorate for fall.  I do love all the fall scented candles, though.  Those totally make me feel "prepared" for fall.  I also love switching out all my summer clothes for all my fall/winter clothes in my closet.

3. Will you participate in your college's Homecoming festivities?
Ummm.....no.  We won't even talk about the Dawgs this year :(

4. What is your favorite fall clothing item or accessory?
Fall clothes are all my FAVORITE!  It's too hard to chose just one.  I love boots, scarves, cute jackets and sweaters, and I love to layer!
5. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?
I don't think it was my favorite costume, but it is definitely one of my most memorable.  I was the Statue of Liberty - ha!  I think I wore a sheet wrapped as a robe and my mom made me the crown, tablet, and torch.  I thought it was perfect.  I can't really remember many other costumes.  I'm sure I was a cheerleader one year.  I think I may have been a cat another year. And the absolute worst was the year I was a "present" (I basically wore a huge box wrapped up in Christmas wrapping paper).  This also happened to be the year I was in 8th grade.  Before you think, "8th grade, what??" Let me assure you, I was not trick-or-treating.  (I think that's creepy once you are old enough to cross the street without holding hands).  I don't know about your middle school experience, but mine included girls that were dressing scandalously for Halloween.  And one poor girl dressed as a giant Christmas gift.

6. Do you like Halloween/horror movies? Do you have a favorite?
Absolutely, Positively, NO!!  I will NOT watch anything that even has the potential to be "scary."  I can barely watch the news without having nightmares.

7. What is your favorite fall activity?
I like watching college football.....I like it even more when my team is winning. :(   I also like going to all the Fall craft fairs.

8. What is your favorite fall recipe?
I like making chicken noodle soup.  Or brunswick stew.

9. What TV Show are you most excited about this fall?
Ooh....there's LOTS!  I was so excited when the new seasons of all our shows started. Some of my favorites are The Good Wife, CSI:NY, Law&Order:SVU, The Office, and Modern Family.  A nice random mix :)

10. When do you start Christmas shopping?
I Christmas shop year-round.  Honestly.  I hate buying gifts last minute.  I try to pick up things here and there throughout the year so that I am prepared once Christmas is here.  Plus, it doesn't feel like I'm spending big chunks of money if I spread out all my shopping instead of buying everything the week before Christmas.  Jeffrey, on the other hand is a total Christmas Eve shopper - it's tradition. :)

11. What do you miss most about Summer?
Vacations, Libbi's cute summer wardrobe (including seersucker and lots of smocking), the longer days, and being tan.  Other than that, summer is my least favorite season.

12. What movie coming out soon are you most excited about?
Hmmmmm......I have no idea.  I couldn't tell you the last movie I saw in the theater.  I am definitely not a "movie person."  If I had to choose one, I guess I would probably say, "The Social Network" but only because of Justin Timberlake.  :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
